We are looking for experienced Mining Planner/Schedulers who can effectively coordinate maintenance and production schedules and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations through proactive planning. Talent Mining and Minerals is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client who provides comprehensive project delivery, staffing, and asset management solutions to the mining, minerals, and industrial sectors. We are seeking a highly organised problem solver who is a strategic and detail orientated planner/scheduler. This role is based in Perth (Mon-Fri) working 8-hour days. What You'll Be Doing: - Planning production operations for large-scale resources or industrial projects. - Aligning production forecasts with logistics capacity (haulage fleets, stockpiles, ship-loading). - Developing integrated resource plans across processing plants, conveyors and/or marine infrastructure. - Coordinates daily/weekly look-ahead schedules ensuring interfaces do not create bottlenecks. - Applying critical path analysis, risk reviews and progress tracking to meet throughput targets. - Developing and maintaining integrated schedules across construction and operations interfaces. What We're Looking For: - Background in logistics and production operations planning for large-scale resources or industrial projects. - An understanding of coastal operations including tidal, weather and export schedule dependencies. - Experience scheduling production and/or civil works on large-scale infrastructure or export-focused projects. Qualifications and Experience: - Proficient in planning tools (P6 / MS Project / SAP or equivalent). - Background in mining, minerals processing, ports, refineries, or heavy industry environments. - Ability to maintain high attention to detail whilst in a fast paced and changing environment.
