As we continue to grow, we are looking for skilled and motivated painter for a full-time position to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties: Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes to protect, maintain and decorate surfaces of buildings and structures. Erect scaffolding and ladders and placing drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering. Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces. Select and prepare paints to required colours by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives. Apply paints, varnishes and stains to surfaces using brushes, rollers and sprays. Hang wallpaper, matching patterns and trimming edges. Clean equipment and work areas. Requirements: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience. Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and power tools. Demonstrated positive attitude and teamwork abilities. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
