The Role Our client, a leading food packaging manufacturer specialising in plastic packaging and based in Narangba, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to join their operations team. They currently run 3 shifts and are looking for a strong leader to oversee the day shift team . This permanent full-time role will see you driving performance, safety, and quality across production lines while ensuring efficient and compliant food packaging processes are maintained. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead the day shift production team (7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday) Ensure production targets, safety standards, and food-quality controls are consistently met Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate workflow and ensure smooth handovers across shifts Train and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to WHS and food safety standards Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to keep machinery operating efficiently Maintain accurate production records and shift reports The Candidate Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in manufacturing, ideally within the plastic or food packaging industry Strong leadership and communication skills Solid mechanical aptitude – able to understand and manage automated packaging lines Ability to work independently and solve problems under pressure Sound understanding of WHS and food safety quality systems To Apply Take the next step in your leadership career with a respected food packaging company known for quality and innovation.
