Full Job Description Our client is a high-volume retail business with a collaborative, down-to-earth team culture in Alexandria (close to public transport & a hybrid model of work) and is paying $110,000 - $125,000 super depending on experience. Past/current processing experience within a retail environment is essential. The environment suits someone who enjoys owning payroll in a fast-paced, multi-site setting and has a tech savvy mindset. The Opportunity We are seeking a hands-on Senior Payroll Officer to own end-to-end payroll and drive systems and process improvement. You’ll partner with HR and Finance, ensure award compliance, and help optimise a modern payroll stack. Competitive package on offer with scope to add value through automation and reporting upgrades. Key Responsibilities Run end-to-end, high-volume payroll across multiple pay frequencies Manage T&A, onboarding/terminations, leave, audits, and reconciliations Ensure compliance with PAYG, super, payroll tax, and the General Retail Industry Award (GRIA) Produce accurate payroll reports and support month- and year-end activities Lead or assist with system optimisation, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives ( Dayforce environment) About You Proven end-to-end payroll background in high-volume settings (retail sector experience essential) Experience with Dayforce (essential, however highly tech-savvy candidates with strong system integration or optimisation experience will also be considered) Advanced Excel/reporting skills; strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication Process-improvement mindset with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Apply via the link below or send your resume directly to Joshua Boyd at jboyd@fourquarters.com.au
