Karlayura Personnel is a dedicated Indigenous workforce provider. We are currently seeking an experienced Dewatering Technician to join the Water Management Team at Rio Tinto Hope Downs 1 . This is an excellent ongoing opportunity offering a competitive pay rate, great roster options, and an immediate (or within 1 weeks) mobilisation. Key Responsibilities Operate water trucks and refuel generators Support dewatering operations across site Take and record flow meter readings, install and connect flow meters Service, maintain, and install submersible and surface pumps Work with tailings storage facilities, poly pipelines, fuel transfer systems, and bores Conduct daily operations within an Autonomous Haulage pit (Frontrunner AHS training provided) Perform chemical water/wastewater treatment and maintenance of treatment equipment, including RO systems Identify and report faults while maintaining safe, high-quality work standards What You’ll Need Current Rio Tinto Induction – mandatory HR Licence – mandatory High Risk Work Licence White Card Strong physical fitness and ability to work in varying site conditions Demonstrated experience in water management, dewatering, or similar mine-site roles Ability to pass a full medical and drug & alcohol screening Full Australian working rights Why Join Us?
