In this diverse role, you will provide structural and contents restoration services to clients whose properties have been damaged by extenuating circumstances such as fire, flood, or malicious damage. Duties will include estimating, overseeing multiple projects, cleaning and deodorising building contents and cataloguing and transporting items when onsite restoration is not possible. Key Duties & Responsibilities Liaise with office staff, managers & external clients Build & maintain strong relationships with adjusters & local assessors Review & manage the ongoing performance of subcontractors Estimate & prepare scopes for repair & remediation works Oversee multiple projects Attend water damage, fire damage, sewerage ingress & mould jobs Perform all areas of mitigation & restoration works as required, including equipment installation & monitoring Prepare & present damage, inspection & inventory lists reports for insurers Complete all necessary job documentation Travel around Brisbane Metro Work a rotating on-call roster, including afterhours shifts Key Selection Criteria Previous experience in Home & Contents Restoration / Insurance Building Supervising / Estimating experience advantageous, however not essential Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal Desire to go above & beyond to deliver exceptional customer service Compassion for customers & clients in difficult situations Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently & as part of a team Proactive nature & good work ethic Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Working with Children Check & White Card Valid & clean driver licence IICRC qualification highly regarded, however not essential Please note: A criminal background check and pre-employment medical examination will make up part of the recruitment process.
