The role: In this diverse and hands-on position, you will: Coordinate Council’s insurance portfolio to ensure appropriate coverage, effective risk transfer and value for money Manage insurance claims end-to-end, working with insurers, legal representatives and internal stakeholders to achieve timely and fair outcomes Support enterprise risk management activities including maintaining risk registers, preparing reports and building risk awareness across the organisation Assist with governance functions by compiling Audit and Risk Committee agendas, minutes and meeting documentation About you: To be successful, you will bring: Experience in insurance claims management, risk management or corporate governance Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships A proactive mindset with a commitment to integrity and continuous improvement This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in risk, insurance or corporate governance in a supportive organisation that values professional development and community impact.
