Yuvi Gill Pty Ltd ATF Yuvi Gill Family Trust is looking for a full time Truck Driver (General) to join our team. Business Location: NORTHFIELD SA 5085 Salary: $75000- $85000 Key Responsibilities: Safely drive and operate heavy trucks to transport goods to assigned destinations. Position and manoeuvre vehicles accurately for loading and unloading. Load and unload materials using lifting or tipping equipment as needed. Follow all safety and load-handling procedures during loading and unloading. Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards. Estimate and distribute load weights appropriately to meet legal requirements. Secure and cover goods properly to prevent movement, damage, or loss in transit. Verify and record loading and delivery details, and check goods against documentation. Maintain logs, delivery records, and vehicle condition reports. Skills, Qualitifcation and Experience: Certificate II or III in Driving Operations (or equivalent) preferred but not essential. Relevant experience operating heavy trucks or road transport vehicles. Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver’s licence. Strong understanding of Australian road laws, vehicle weight limits, and fatigue management. Attention to detail with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to plan routes and meet delivery schedules with minimal supervision. Professional communication and customer service skills.
