This is a Desktop Estimator role, you will play a key part in delivering accurate and timely assessments for insurance related building projects. You will use your trade knowledge and estimating experience to assess property damage, scope works, and prepare professional reports all from a office based environment. Key Responsibilities: Review property damage reports and supporting evidence Prepare detailed scopes of work and accurate cost estimates Ensure all documentation meets client and insurer requirements Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cost-effective solutions Maintain quality and accuracy while meeting project deadlines About You: A trade qualification in Carpentry or solid building background Previous estimating experience (insurance industry experience highly regarded) Understanding of building repairs, maintenance, and remedial works Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong time management and organisational abilities A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes Current Driver’s Licence Benefits: Flexible work environment because work life balance matters, choose hours that suit your lifestyle the best Career development opportunities, ongoing training and clear pathways for growth.
