The position: Full-Time, Ongoing contract 80.0 hours per fortnight. The Grade One Occupational Therapy position offers an exciting opportunity for an ongoing role with a 6-month rotational position offered across 4 areas of Acute, Rehabilitation, Community and Outpatients. In this position you will have the opportunity to choose your area of interest with an opportunity to work in either hands, lymphoedema or neurological out patients, under the mentorship of senior clinicians. You will provide therapy for consumers that promotes, maintains and assists recovery and independence in all aspects of daily living, at home, work, and in the community, as well as supporting the multidisciplinary team to embed innovative models of care. Key attributes needed: A degree in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration Good knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the areas of acute inpatients and inpatient rehabilitation/GEM or community/outpatient rehabilitation. Strong communication of clinical justifications and interpersonal skills which promote consumer and service interests.
