Help Host Happy Hour – Volunteer Opportunity in Wahroonga Do you enjoy catering, organising, or creating a welcoming atmosphere? Join us on the 3rd Friday afternoon of each month to help run Happy Hour for residents living with dementia at our aged care home in Wahroonga. Many of us enjoy the buzz of a social event — and our residents are no different! Your support will help create a joyful, relaxed environment where residents can enjoy music, light refreshments, and good company. Bring your hospitality skills, friendly nature, and a heart for older people, and help make Happy Hour a highlight of their month. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
