Share the Joy of Creativity – Arts & Crafts Volunteer Opportunity HammondCare Aged Care Home, Wahroonga Do you enjoy being creative and bringing joy to others through art? We’re looking for a kind-hearted volunteer to support arts and crafts sessions with residents at HammondCare Wahroonga, many of whom are living with dementia. Through simple, meaningful activities—like painting, colouring, collage, or craft—you’ll help create moments of connection, self-expression, and calm. No special skills are needed—just a gentle presence, a listening ear, and a love for sharing creativity with others. Your time and compassion can help brighten someone’s day in the most beautiful way. Your impact Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated. HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
