About the role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineering Officer to join our Design and Certification Team. In this pivotal role, you will provide expert technical advice to customers, consultants, project managers, and ASP Level 3 designers. You will assess and certify electricity network designs to ensure they are safe, sustainable, and compliant with Essential Energy’s standards. Your work will directly support customers connecting to our network while balancing stakeholder and community expectations. You will also support Construction Inspectors and internal teams with design advice, evaluate and validate equipment and systems, and contribute to strategic planning and development. This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment. About You You are a proactive and strategic thinker with a strong background in the energy or utilities sector. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about delivering safe and effective network solutions. Your ability to manage complex technical issues and communicate clearly with stakeholders sets you apart.
