About the Role Location: Brisbane (Fortitude Valley), Sydney (Parramatta), or Melbourne (CBD) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Business Unit: Telecommunications – Network Infrastructure Reporting To: Automation Team Manager About the Role As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategic concepts into actionable project plans. You will manage JIRA boards, facilitate agile ceremonies, and ensure alignment across developers, analysts, and stakeholders. This is a hands-on delivery role with national influence, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution: Convert high-level ideas into structured JIRA tasks and workflows. Agile Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Progress Monitoring: Track team velocity, capacity, and risks using JIRA, Excel, or Power BI. Delivery Support: Align day-to-day tasks with broader project goals and timelines. Issue Management: Identify blockers early and support resolution strategies. Process Improvement: Recommend and implement enhancements to team workflows. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience with JIRA/Confluence for task and board management. Formal training or certification in Agile/Scrum (e.g. CSM, PSM) is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in Excel or Power BI for reporting and analysis. Familiarity with AI tools for planning and automation is advantageous.
