About the Role Based out of our Mackay branch and working with a team of Fixed Fire Protection Technicians, across Central Qld Region Responsible for fire systems for our current and new customers focusing on service maintenance, installation, modification and repair of Fire Detection Systems incorporating special hazards & Emergency / Exit lights. Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment Technical Assistance/backup for On Call Technicians About You Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR) Current QLD Electrical Licence Current driver’s licence QBCC Licence (Electrical Stream, Special Hazards Stream) Ability to obtain and undergo regularly Standard 11/Coal Board Medical Able to undergo a National Police Check. A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred. A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.
