Seeking internal expressions of interest cross-sector Temporary full-time role available for 3 months Role based in Sydney Olympic Park with flexible working supported TRP from $332K to $369K including superannuation The Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) is seeking an experienced executive to lead the Authority as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a term of three months as a backfill arrangement As the CEO, you will provide visionary leadership to the Authority and oversee the management of the Sydney Olympic Park precinct as it continues its transformation into a vibrant, thriving and well-connected metropolitan hub. You will shape and drive a bold strategic agenda that balances the delivery of diverse housing and employment opportunities, world-class events and sustainability outcomes – ensuring the precinct remains one of NSW’s premier destinations to live, work and visit. You will lead reform to reposition SOPA’s role within government, guiding its evolution from a place manager to a strategic enabler of urban transformation. With accountability for the execution of the precinct’s Master Plan, you will harness government-owned assets, infrastructure investment and strategic partnerships to unlock economic, environmental and social value. This role requires a dynamic, influential leader who can inspire teams, build trust across government and industry, and deliver outcomes that shape the future of the precinct and the broader NSW community.
