Our Early Psychosis Psychosocial Supports program (EPPS) is growing, and we’re looking for two full-time and one part-time Youth Wellbeing Workers to make a real difference in young people’s lives. This is a deeply rewarding role where you’ll walk alongside young people on their wellbeing journey, helping them build confidence, resilience, and hope for the future. You’ll offer practical and emotional support that strengthens wellbeing, life skills, and connection to education, work, and community. Your Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate, person-centred psychosocial support to young people to strengthen their mental health, build confidence, and promote engagement in education, employment, and community life. Assist with client assessments, including risk assessments, and contribute to planning and review processes that support safe and effective service delivery. Collaborate with families, community organisations, and service partners to support recovery, life skills, and social connection. Foster a positive, inclusive, and values-driven culture that embraces lived experience, mutual respect, and personal growth. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with organisational and quality standards. Actively participate in team meetings, supervision, and professional development to support continuous learning and service improvement. Contribute to a safe and supportive workplace by identifying and reporting risks, incidents, and opportunities for improvement. You will have: A Certificate level qualification in Social Sciences/Human Services and relevant experience or Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or similar, and relevant experience working with young people. Lived experience of early psychosis or supporting someone who has experienced early psychosis will be well regarded. Experience developing and delivering person-centred support plans for young people. Understanding of adolescent and young adult development (ages 15–25) and trauma-informed care. Great communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to utilise technology and digital tools to support your work. Commitment to RFQ’s values and to working safely, ethically, and within organisational guidelines. To undergo criminal history screening in the form of obtaining and maintaining a NDIS Worker Screening. To obtain and maintain a Queensland Blue Card. Why RFQ?
