About the role Reporting to the Transmission Manager, and initially starting out in the High Voltage Test stream you will be responsible for prioritising and developing work programs for the Transmission group, which includes allocating work crews, acting as the main point of contact between Transmission Managers, Project Management, CNS and Distribution groups, with a focus on driving improved output and efficiency of field staff, as well as developing OPEX and CAPEX efficiency initiatives. The focus of this role will be: Building relationships with other Transmission staff to enable effective flow of information for programming and planning Prioritising programs and communicating priorities to Technical Support staff and Operations Managers to ensure resources are focused on organisational priorities Developing work programs to assist in driving a significant change in delivery and efficiency focus for field staff to reduce overall operating costs of the Workgroup Identifying developing and implementing efficiency improvements and strategies when programming by utilising data from a number of disparate systems and portfolios to ensure all work in a geographic or electrical isolation area, where possible, is completed in the least number of visits. Reviewing and analysing these programming strategies and overall Workgroup performance against internal, external and industry benchmark This role would suit someone with demonstrated experience in managing resources and delivering major projects in a complex environment.
