About the opportunity Located in Welshpool, we are seeking an experienced Purchasing / AP Officer on a part time basis, 20-22.5 hours over 3-4 days per week. You will be part of a small, long-standing team that values professional conduct, encourages input and knowledge sharing, and offers flexibility in return. You will support the business through a variety of duties including end-to-end accounts payable, purchasing, inventory management and payroll tasks. Maintaining stock levels and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations will also be a component of this role. Key responsibilities include Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice entry, reconciliations, and supplier payments Support month-end processes including bank reconciliations Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records Reconcile petty cash and company debit cards Liaise with suppliers, process purchase orders, and monitor order deliveries Match goods received with purchase orders and report any discrepancies Maintain inventory records, assist with stock takes, and record stock usage Perform administrative tasks including filing and arranging logistics About you To be successful in this role, you will have a proactive approach, proven experience in end-to-end accounts payable and purchasing, and strong proficiency in Xero and integrated systems. You will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening and supply a current National Police Clearance.
