CoreStaff are seeking experienced and motivated Laboratory Technicians to support a Pilot Field Recovery Trial 20kms out of Whyalla, South Australia. This short-term DIDO opportunity offers hands-on experience within the mining and resources sector , contributing to a key study. You’ll join a small, dynamic team conducting metallurgical testing, analytical sample work, and supporting daily process operations. Your duties will include but not limited too: Conducting routine metallurgical testing, sample preparation, and analytical testing (XRF and wet chemistry) Calibrating and maintaining analytical and XRF instrumentation Supporting diagnostic test work to troubleshoot daily operational issues Managing accurate data entry and producing reports in MS Excel Maintaining laboratory safety, housekeeping, and compliance standards About You: We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented technician who can work effectively both independently and within a small team. The ideal candidate will have: Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (Or higher) or 2 years’ industrial or mining laboratory experience Experience operating analytical laboratory equipment , particularly XRF instruments Previous exposure to mineral processing or metallurgical laboratories (highly regarded) Strong numeracy, data analysis, and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective time management and communication abilities X-Ray apparatus operator qualification or training (advantageous) Work Details Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off – rotating day and night shifts 12 hour days Location: Approx. 20 km from Whyalla – DIDO daily Candidates from Whyalla and surrounding regions highly encouraged to apply Apply Now If you’re ready to contribute to an exciting new chapter in in Australia’s emerging uranium industry.
