Project Support Officer – Minimum Standards Project A large Queensland Government department is seeking a Project Support Officer to assist with the early stages of a strategic initiative that will define consistent and equitable infrastructure standards across Queensland schools. This role will provide essential coordination, reporting, and stakeholder support, helping establish a framework that ensures all students have access to quality learning environments. Key Responsibilities: Support the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and tracking project milestones and deliverables. Prepare project documentation including work plans, progress reports, presentations, and meeting notes. Maintain accurate project records and version control across deliverables. Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, meetings, and consultation sessions. Collate and analyse stakeholder feedback to inform project recommendations. Maintain project risk and issue registers and assist in governance and quality assurance processes. Support consultant coordination, procurement documentation, and logistics for project activities. Assist with reporting to senior leadership and ensure alignment across related initiatives. Skills & Experience: Experience supporting infrastructure or strategic planning projects within government or large organisations. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including document preparation and reporting. Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Sound understanding of project management principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
