Employment Type: Independent Contractor / On Call / Casual Work Mode: Onsite (Field Support / On-Demand) ____ About the Role We are looking for an experienced EUC (End User Computing) / Network Smart Hands Engineer to provide onsite technical support on an on-call or casual basis across multiple client locations in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled IT professionals who enjoy flexible, field-based work and have strong hands-on experience in desktop, laptop, printer, and network hardware troubleshooting. ____ Key Responsibilities • Provide onsite EUC and Network Smart Hands support for incidents, service requests, and installations. • Perform break-fix, IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change), and preventive maintenance tasks. • Support network device installations – routers, switches, access points, and cabling. • Handle hardware replacements, upgrades, and troubleshooting for end-user devices. • Collaborate with remote support and service desk teams for timely resolution. • Maintain accurate logs for dispatch calls, assets, and completion reports. • Coordinate with vendors and third-party support teams when required. • Ensure all activities comply with client SLAs and ITIL processes. ____ Required Skills & Experience • 3–6 years of experience in Desktop Support / EUC / Smart Hands / Field Engineering. • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, O365, Active Directory, and common desktop applications. • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, IP addressing, cabling, patching). • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals). • Familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar). • Excellent communication and coordination skills. • Must have a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between client sites. ____ Preferred Qualifications • ITIL Foundation certification. • CompTIA A / N or vendor certifications (HP, Dell, Cisco). • Prior experience in casual/on-demand support engagements. ____ Work Scope • On-demand / Casual calls during business hours. • May include after-hours or weekend support as per SLA. • Reporting to: Regional Service Delivery Manager / Project Coordinator. ____ Interested?
