Your new role: As the Nurse Unit Manager - Emergency, you'll play a pivotal leadership role in coordinating and delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across the Emergency Department at QEII Jubilee Hospital. You'll lead a large and skilled team to ensure the provision of safe, compassionate and efficient services by: Providing advanced clinical and professional leadership within a multidisciplinary environment. Managing the department's human, material, and financial resources to achieve best practice standards. Supporting staff through education, mentoring, and workforce development initiatives. Driving quality improvement, innovation, and research within emergency nursing practice. Promoting a culture that upholds person-centred care, teamwork, and continuous learning. About you: You are an experienced nursing leader with advanced clinical expertise in emergency care and a passion for inspiring and empowering others. You'll bring strong professional and operational management capabilities by: Holding current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrating advanced knowledge and clinical skills in emergency nursing. Exhibiting proven leadership in managing teams, budgets, and resources effectively. Applying contemporary, evidence-informed nursing practices and quality frameworks. Possessing exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
