The Role An opportunity has become available for a/several Clinical Nurse (Mental Health - Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Apply professional knowledge and skills in clinical decision making Contribute to the clinical education of students and other less experienced staff Work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team to provide integration and coordination between different sites or programs Establish and maintain partnerships with consumers and their family/carers in cooperation with other care providers Provide efficient and responsive community mental health nursing care at a professional level Participate in performance appraisal and development, ensuring mandatory competencies are adhered to Maintain the currency and high quality of practice knowledge, skills and expertise Undertake a portfolio consistent with skill level and level of practice. About you To be successful in this position you will require: A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia Credentialed through the College of Mental Health Nurses or working towards a credential in Mental Health A graduate certificate or greater within a relevant specialty area is highly desirable Drivers license Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging Modern Facilities Diverse Work Culture Research Opportunities 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Permanent full time Base salary ranging from $107,960 - $115,604 per annum About Us It is the aim of the Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team is to offer a recovery oriented approach that is person centred, strengths based, collaborative and empowering. There is an emphasis on consumer choice, building resilience and enhancing opportunities for social inclusion. The service is co-located with the Continuing Care team (CCT). The CCT operates on the premise that consumers can and do recover from mental illness.
