We’re looking for a dynamic Teacher who will combine a Head of Wellbeing Position of Responsibility to lead our wellbeing initiatives and inspire positive change across our school community. About the Role This role combines an ongoing classroom teacher role with strategic leadership in student wellbeing, commencing with a 2-year Position of Responsibility. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping a culture of care, resilience, and belonging—working closely with staff, students, and families to foster a thriving school environment. Key Responsibilities: · Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching in your subject area · Lead the development and implementation of wellbeing programs and policies · Work with the Wellbeing Team to support students’ social-emotional development and mental health · Collaborate with staff to embed wellbeing into the curriculum and school culture · Provide professional development and guidance to staff on wellbeing practices · Align wellbeing initiatives with PVCC’s Christian ethos and values About You You’re an empathetic and proactive educator who brings: · Teaching qualifications and VIT registration · Proven experience in student wellbeing or pastoral care · Tertiary qualifications in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or related field · Strong communication and leadership skills · A commitment to Christian education and the College’s mission · Passion for making a meaningful impact in students’ lives About the College Plenty Valley Christian College (PVCC) is a kindergarten to Year 12, co-educational Christian College with more than 950 students.
