About the Role As a Business Advisor, you’ll be a key member of the site business delivery team, supporting maintenance and engineering functions with high-impact commercial advice. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying value-creating opportunities, facilitating cost reduction initiatives, and enhancing process efficiency. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing change across diverse stakeholder groups. This position is offered on a part-time basis of 3 days per week and based at the Wagerup Refinery. You’ll be responsible for: Lead cost reduction and process efficiency initiatives through detailed analysis of key cost drivers Manage monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including reporting and insights Support strategic and operational planning with tactical business advice Deliver regular performance measurement and reporting Provide raw material and power costing and forecasting Offer controllership support and ensure compliance with Alcoa’s financial guidelines Evaluate projects, including capital vs expense analysis and lease vs buy options What’s on offer Attractive remuneration and variable bonus plan. What you can bring to the role A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) is desirable Strong analytical and modelling skills Strong Microsoft suite and Oracle experience Proven ability to influence and collaborate across functions Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting A commitment to continuous improvement and commercial excellence Additional information Interviews may progress prior to the closing date, although all applications will be considered.
