We have opportunities for early career professionals, Executive to join our team. Our team delivers independent corporate finance advisory services for private and public market clients across a range of transactions including acquisitions, divestments, mergers, takeovers, and capital raisings. Your Opportunity You will be joining a high performing team in the Melbourne mid-market that will see you working closely with our Partners and clients from day one and delivering on live mandates with a strong and consistent deal flow across the group nationally. You will also collaborate with the national and international KPMG network to deliver cross border engagements. Ideally, You are currently in a Corporate Finance or M&A team, exploring opportunities to grow your career in a national advisory environment collaborating with high-profile clients. Everyday our people : Work on sell side, capital raising and buy side mandates in the mid-market. Prepare pricing and valuation analysis, detailed 3-statement financial models and financial analysis for complex transactions across a variety of sectors. Provide financial and commercial deal insights to buyers and vendors. Support the execution of transactions and interact with clients, legal and tax advisers, and financiers . Draft transaction marketing materials (e.g., information memoranda, flyers, and management presentations) as well as board and stakeholder presentations. Identify issues, generate options, and recommend solutions to clients. Identify, investigate, and pursue origination opportunities and develop relationships with prospective clients. Your qualifications, skills and experience could include: Recent experience working on transactions in an investment bank, corporate advisory firm, private equity, or accounting firm (M&A Advisory or Corporate Finance). Suitable technical capabilities and accreditations having completed (or in progress to complete) relevant post-graduate studies (i.e., CA or CFA) An appetite and enthusiasm for corporate finance with a work ethic and a motivation to achieve best outcomes for clients, KPMG, and yourself. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Confident with your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills. A dedicated team ethic, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. An ability to focus on client deliverables, task management and self-led learning, while managing multiple demands on your time and deadlines.
