The opportunity The Royal Freemasons community is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team at Coppin Centre Residential Aged Care Facility in Melbourne. As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our residents’ comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Working as part of a supportive and professional team, you’ll deliver high-quality personal and clinical care that aligns with each resident’s individual needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and daily living assistance to residents in accordance with their care plans. Support residents with mobility, meals, personal hygiene, and other activities of daily living. Build positive and respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues. Contribute to a safe and supportive environment by following care and infection control procedures. Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support high-quality care and compliance standards. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team. About You Certificate III or Certificate IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working in aged care or health services (preferred). Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach to care. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of person-centred care and dignity of risk principles. Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Key Requirements It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
