We’re seeking a thoughtful and proactive Risk & Compliance Manager – Technology Risk to join our Legal, Risk and Compliance function as a dedicated Line 2 Business Partner. In this role, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Technology Department, which includes software engineers, cybersecurity experts, infrastructure specialists and project managers, to help shape and uplift how we manage risk across our tech landscape from a Line 2 perspective. Your voice will be valued as you provide independent oversight, guidance and challenge to the business, supporting teams through risk assessments, regulatory engagement, and the embedding of best practice controls to safeguard our systems and data. You’ll also be responsible for contributing to board-level reporting and assurance activities, ensuring our governance remains robust, future-focused and in line with Line 2 responsibilities. What you’ll be doing: Acting as a Line 2 Business Partner by advising on technology and data risk across Netwealth’s operations Providing independent support for incident and breach management, and regulatory communications Leading Line 2 assurance activities and maintaining our risk systems (Protecht) Partnering with tech teams to embed resilient, compliant processes and provide objective risk insights Delivering strategic advice on CPS234, CPS231, CPS232 and other regulatory frameworks About you: You’re a confident communicator and trusted Line 2 advisor, with deep expertise in financial services risk and compliance. You bring a calm, solutions-focused mindset and thrive in dynamic environments. Experience in superannuation, IDPS or managed investments will be highly regarded.
