Provides post-sales services for customers including installation, configuration, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and resolves malfunctions. Determines when products should be upgraded or replaced to meet customer needs. Provide customers assistance with the operation and maintenance of company products. Develop on-going relationship with customers to secure future business. May provide on-site training to customers on the features of the equipment they purchase. The Service Technician will be based in Melbourne and will report to the Regional Manager. The territory will be initially focused on specific Key Account and territory responsibilities in the Southern Region (Majority being within VIC) with potential travel throughout the Southern Region as required. Overseas travel may also be a requirement of the role on an “as needs” basis. e.g.NZ. The Service Technician will be expected to provide a high level of field equipment support to the customer base through a good grounding of core technical, mechanical and electrical skills coupled with an ability to plan, prioritise and to work in a largely autonomous fashion.
