We’re looking for an experienced Leading Hand / Labourer to join civil projects in Bunbury and the South West. You’ll lead a small labouring crew on site and deliver high-quality results for the project. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily on-site operations, coordinating tasks and setting priorities for crew members. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to specification. Read and interpret plans, levels and site drawings to guide excavation, earthworks and drainage activities. Liaise with supervisors, subcontractors and plant operators to maintain workflow and productivity. Participate in pre-start meetings, safety briefings and toolbox talks. Monitor quality and compliance with project standards, including compaction, trimming and service installations. Support hands-on tasks where required What We Need From You Strong civils background (subdivisions/roadworks/earthworks) with proven Leading Hand experience. Confident working around services and reading plans/levels. Current White Card and relevant plant tickets/VOCs Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport. Solid communication, safety focus, and ability to drive crew performance. Availability for consistent weekday hours with occasional Saturdays when required.
