Bistro Morgan Position : Full Time Location : VIC Salary : $70,000 - $80,000 a year Bistro Morgan is an artisan bakehouse and cafe founded by, rising culinary star Morgan Hipworth. They are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Pastrycook and Baker to join their team. Pastrycook Pastrycooks are responsible for: Checking the quality of raw materials and weigh ingredients Glazing and decorating pastry goods Preparing pastry filling Presenting quality pastry goods on a daily basis Maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment Adhering to WHS and Food Safety practices Calculating orders when required Successful applicants must have the following: Relevant qualification At least 2 years of relevant experience Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired Baker Bakers are responsible for: Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients Mixing doughs to specific guidelines Working out required dough temperatures Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, roll and other bakery goods Operating machines which roll and mould dough and cut biscuits At all times, ensuring that Food Safety requirements are met.
