About the role We’re looking for a Medical Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping medical strategies, and work closely with healthcare professionals, presenting scientific data and supporting the appropriate use of GSK medicines. Internally, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute robust medical plans that align with our brand strategies. This is a dynamic role where your expertise will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes. Your role will be varied and will include: Develop and execute medical plans and associated activities to support GSK’s vaccines portfolio. Represent the medical function in cross-functional brand team planning, ensuring alignment with commercial strategies. Build and maintain relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs) through field-based interactions and scientific dialogue. Deliver presentations to educate healthcare professionals on the appropriate use of GSK medicines. Collaborate with the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) leadership team to develop and execute MSL-related plans and activities. Ensure compliance with medical regulations and review activities and materials for adherence to ethical standards. About you We’re looking for someone with strong scientific expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll need: Bachelor of Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, or Medicine. PhD in Vaccines, Immunology, or Microbiology will be highly regarded. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Scientific Advisor. Proven ability to engage with healthcare professionals and external experts in scientific dialogue. Knowledge of vaccines, immunology, microbiology, and infectious diseases. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to deliver impactful scientific education. Ability to navigate compliance codes, regulations, and the Australian regulatory and reimbursement process.
