The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of project delivery - planning, coordination, budgeting, safety, and quality assurance - ensuring projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget. Key Responsibilities : Plan, manage, and deliver civil and concrete construction projects from start to finish. Lead and coordinate project teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Develop project programs, budgets, and resource plans in line with contractual and client requirements. Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and cost control. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards. Prepare and manage project documentation including RFIs, ITPs, NCRs, variations, and progress claims. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders. Lead site meetings, coordinate with design and construction teams, and oversee daily site activities. Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and team performance. Qualifications & Experience : Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role within the civil or concrete construction industry. Proven track record of successfully delivering civil infrastructure projects (e.g. drainage, structures, roadworks, water treatment, or pit construction). Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. Sound understanding of construction methodologies, design coordination, and contract administration. Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with MS Project or similar preferred). Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality management systems. Diesel Motor Mechanic Role Overview We are also seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of Suas Civil's fleet of vehicles, trucks, and plant equipment. This role is critical to ensuring our machinery remains reliable, safe, and fully operational to support ongoing construction activities across our sites. Key Responsibilities : Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components. Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and safety checks on heavy vehicles, trucks, and plant machinery (excavators, loaders, compactors, etc.). Carry out preventative maintenance programs to minimise downtime. Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and parts usage reports. Identify and source required parts and consumables. Perform breakdown repairs promptly, either in the workshop or on-site as required. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental standards. Assist in managing the overall condition, performance, and readiness of all Suas Civil plant and equipment. Qualifications & Experience : Certificate II in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification). Minimum 3-5 years' experience working as a heavy diesel mechanic, preferably within the civil construction or transport industry. Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Valid driver's licence (HR or HC licence desirable). White Card and relevant tickets (e.g. forklift, confined space) advantageous. Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement. A salary between $90,000 - $110,000 per annum will be offered to the successful applicant for this role.
