SASH North Ryde is the flagship hospital of the SASH specialist and 24/7 emergency network with approximately 100 vets stretching over six levels, the hospital has the country’s most comprehensive list of specialist departments. Our hospital wouldn't be able to do what we do without our amazing nurses, and we're now seeking team members who will be essential in providing care to our patients from emergency admission through to discharge. What your day-to-day looks like: Assist with and/or perform advanced interventions such as placement of central, PICC and arterial lines, direct arterial pressure monitoring, urinary catheter placement, feeding tube placement, high flow nasal oxygen provision, and mechanical ventilation Participate in and lead CPR resuscitation efforts Assist with admissions and discharges from the ICU Conduct and collect various laboratory samples for internal and external analysis Assist with transfer to and reception of critical care referrals from general practice veterinarians Support the emergency department with triage and procedural responsibilities Assist with critical care anaesthesia, including TIVA, in collaboration with anaesthetists within the SASH network What's in it for You?
