About the Role As Supply & Distribution Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain and distribution operations of Biviano Direct. This includes managing inbound sourcing, warehousing, logistics, inventory control and outbound distribution to customers. You will help ensure operational efficiency, cost optimisation and service excellence in a fast-paced wholesale environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage supply chain strategy covering sourcing, warehousing and distribution operations. Oversee inbound logistics: receipt of goods from suppliers, quality checks, warehouse storage and handling. Manage inventory levels and replenishment to minimise wastage, stock-outs and excess holding costs. Direct outbound logistics and distribution: scheduling deliveries, coordinating transport, optimising routes and ensuring timely service. Ensure warehouse operations meet health, safety and food safety compliance standards (HACCP, SciQual etc). Monitor supplier performance, lead times and cost-effectiveness, and implement improvement plans. Analyse operational data (warehouse throughput, delivery times, cost per unit, service levels) and produce reports for senior management. Implement continuous improvement initiatives in supply & distribution processes (lean, automation, KPI tracking). Manage budgeting and cost control for supply chain and distribution functions, including transport, fuel, labour, packaging. Liaise with sales, retail & wholesale teams to align supply chain operations with customer demand and seasonal peaks. Participate in supplier/partner negotiations for logistics services, transport contracts, warehousing agreements. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams (procurement, operations, customer service) and external partners (transporters, third-party logistics). Plan capacity and resources for seasonal surges, promotional periods and system changes. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company-policy requirements across warehousing, transport and storage. Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of warehouse, logistics and distribution staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. What We Are Looking For Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing or distribution management (preferably in fresh produce, grocery or FMCG). Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field. Strong analytical skills with ability to use data to drive operational improvements. Excellent organisational, planning and coordination skills, with a hands-on approach to managing a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to manage logistics/transport operations and optimise cost-effectiveness while maintaining high service standards. Strong leadership and communication skills, able to lead teams, negotiate with partners and collaborate across functions. Knowledge of food-safety, warehousing and distribution regulations and best-practice standards (advantage).
