The Role An opportunity has become available for several Allied Health Practitioners - Senior (Acquired Brain Injury Rehabilitation Coordinator) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia. You will Deliver high level clinical services (including assessment, planning and intervention) Deliver high level rehabilitation coordination/case management services in a specialist community Provide clinical advice to peers and to relevant external stakeholders regarding specialist knowledge of Acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation About you To be successful in this position you will require: A relevant tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Worker or Speech Pathology AHPRA Registration or eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers or Speech Pathology Australia Driver Licence Working with children check (GCH will cover cost) Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost) Benefits Flexible work options Career Development Salary Packaging 12.75% super 17.5% leave loading Salary Permanent full time, permanent part time (several positions, hrs negotiable) Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum, $64.64 - $69.55 per hour About Us The Brain Injury Community Integration Service is an interdisciplinary team that provides post-discharge rehabilitation programs to improve the continuity of client care by emphasising coordination of services across inpatient, outpatient and community-based domains. It has a role in training, consultancy and development to assist people with ABI and their families/carers to negotiate for their needs to be met within the broad service system.
