Some of your responsibilities will include:- Undertake and complete engineering survey projects with the survey and geospatial team to ensure timely completion and adherence to scope and quality to meet the project cycle requirements- Undertake specialised survey projects and provide technical expertise and consultancy service in geospatial applications to a diverse range of customers to ensure success, value for money and best practice are adopted.- Maintain effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to survey projects.- Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), TMR surveying standards and governance obligations. Mandatory qualifications and conditions- Minimum of a 3-year degree from a tertiary institute in Spatial Science (Surveying) will be highly regarded, or an equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institute that is acceptable for registration as a surveyor/surveying graduate with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ) - Evidence of degree or SBQ acceptance must be supplied in writing by the applicant at the time of the interview.- A current Class 'C' Drivers Licence- Pre-employment checks, including a criminal history screening and declaration of serious discipline history will be required to be completed.- Must be eligible to work in Australia.
