About the work unit / facility The Mobile Women's Health Service is part of the Women and Children's Service Group at Townsville Hospital and Health Service. This service delivers vital women's health care to rural and remote communities across North Queensland, improving access and outcomes for women who may otherwise face barriers to care. Competitive salary and benefits Salary between $66.85 - $78.59 per hour (Nurse Grade 7/8). 4 to 6 weeks p.a. recreational leave with 14-17.5% loading. About your opportunity As a Nurse Practitioner in the Mobile Women's Health Service, you will work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver advanced clinical care to women across the Townsville HHS and neighbouring regions. This role includes prescribing, diagnostics, and direct referrals, with a strong focus on outreach and health equity. You'll be part of a passionate team committed to improving access to care for women in rural and remote communities. Requirements Master of Nursing Science (Nurse Practitioner) or equivalent. Current registration with AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner. Credentialing with THHS upon commencement and every 3 years. Evidence of vaccination or immunity to VPDs and TB screening. Possession of a current Class C driver licence. Ability to travel to remote locations, including by light aircraft or ferry. A probationary period may apply.
