Sunshine Coast Health are excited to welcome an Advanced Trainee Registrar to our Obstetrics and Gynaecology team commencing February 2025. In this role, you will have the opportunity to complete one year of advanced RANZCOG training in a position designed to develop consultant-level skills in general gynaecologic surgery, birth suite management, advanced obstetric procedures, and leadership. You will undertake one or more RANZCOG Advanced Training Modules, with options including obstetrics, laparoscopy (available in the second year only), and urogynaecology or reproductive health. As part of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical services in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, providing comprehensive care to patients while working within a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities include: Work as the primary decision-maker in gynaecology and maternity clinics with consultant back-up as appropriate. Develop advanced Obstetric procedural skills in complex deliveries with direct consultant supervision and training. Manage birth suite as the primary decision-maker with consultant back-up as appropriate. Primary operator in advanced general gynaecology surgery procedures with consultant supervision as appropriate. Salary rates: $4,966.90 - $5,758.70 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L4 - L9) (temporary full-time position, 76 hrs p.f.) for up to 12 months.
