The Opportunity As a senior distributor within La Trobe Financial’s Asset Management Division, you will be responsible for managing and expanding strategic relationships with U/HNW individuals, family offices, and institutional investors across Australia. This nationally focused role will see you drive engagement across our wholesale distribution network, support the execution of existing investment strategies, and lead the successful launch of new products to market. This scope may expand to international markets. You will represent La Trobe Financial with professionalism and warmth, consistently embodying our corporate values and commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead sales initiatives to grow assets under management across wholesale distribution channels Develop and execute strategic distribution plans aligned with business objectives Build and manage a portfolio of trusted relationships with key client segments and strategic accounts Deliver tailored investment solutions and exceptional service to wholesale clients Provide market intelligence and client insights to inform distribution strategy, product development and positioning Represent the firm at industry conferences, panels, and client events as a brand ambassador, which includes public speaking Champion the firm’s investment capabilities, values, and performance track record Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, marketing, compliance, and operations teams Support distribution team members as needed Report regularly to the Head of Distribution and travel as required for client and industry engagements About you This role requires the successful applicant to possess over 10 years of experience in asset management sales or equivalent financial services. Additional qualification and experience required includes: Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, or related field Proven excellence in client relationship management and strategic distribution Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving growth across wholesale channels Demonstrated success in business development across wholesale distribution channels Analytical and solutions focused, with strong objection handling skills Self-driven and results oriented, aligned with strategic business goals Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently Employee Benefits We’re all about balance – delivering great work and enjoying the journey.
