Key Duties & Responsibilities may Include but not limited to: Plan and develop menus, forecast food and labour costs, and manage the procurement of food supplies. Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes to maintain consistency and high-quality standards. Collaborate with managers, dietitians, and front-of-house staff to resolve any food preparation or service issues. Demonstrate culinary techniques and provide training on cooking methods and best practices. Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and ensure meals are prepared to a high standard. Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with regulations. Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff. Manage food storage and preservation processes, including freezing and safe handling for future use. Qualifications and Skills Strong proficiency in a range of culinary techniques and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment. Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume kitchen environment. Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or similar setting.
