This team supports the delivery of a range of travel, finance, and business system solutions providing administrative and support services across the business areas of the Department. As a key member of the team, you will provide support for a range of travel, finance and business systems, functions, services, and processes. As the Business Systems Officer you will  Provide support for a range of travel and finance functions, services, systems, and processes.  Support the Manager Business and Travel Solutions with travel processes, systems and supplier arrangements under the QTravel model for the department.  Be a knowledge expert to provide travel system (QTravel and MyTravel) functions including user profiles, master data maintenance, system configuration, audit, reporting and business processes in line with Departmental policy and procedures.  Investigate and resolve issues resulting from travel system configurations, exception reports and user errors. This may require assisting with the implementation of system enhancements, process changes and other project delivery.  Provide business system support (e.g. SAP, corporate card, banking) including user access, organisational hierarchy development and maintenance, approval workflow tables, reporting and business processes.  Provide timely and professional advice, guidance and support to stakeholders, system users and help desk customers on travel, finance and business systems, services, procedures, and controls.  Administer and deliver a comprehensive program of internal controls monitoring and reporting for travel and finance systems including business travel accounts, SAP ECC6 and corporate card. This will require strong Excel skills to perform analytical, cost allocation and reconciliation tasks.  Ensure compliance with relevant Government legislation and guidelines and Departmental policies and procedures in relation to travel, finance, administrative, recordkeeping (Public Records Act 2002), information security and privacy and other corporate and operational issues.  Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and participate in the development and maintenance of the relevant travel and finance policies, procedures, educational resources, business processes, tools and systems, including user acceptance testing.
