About the Role As the Senior Student Support Worker, you will supervise the daily activities of the residential campus to ensure a safe and secure environment for students. You will regularly liaise with students, school staff, and parents to identify and address any educational, social, emotional, or behavioural concerns. Successful applicants must hold a current First Aid certificate, CPR certification, a Working with Children Blue Card, and a Light Rigid Driver's Licence or be willing to obtain one. A qualification in community services or working with children is preferred but not mandatory. Your Responsibilities As the Senior Student Support Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Operationally supervise the day-to-day activities of the Boarding Campus to ensure a safe and secure residential environment for students to reside. Jointly manage the roster and work activities of assigned Student Support Workers In the absence of the Manager of Living, assist in managing and co-ordinating the activities of all staff and students. Liaise with the students, school staff at the boarding campus and parents on a regular basis to recognise any social, emotional or behaviour problems. The Senior Student Support Workers are directly responsible to the Head of Campus. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the school terms. The Boarding Campus closes during the school holidays and staff can accrue ADOs to cover these holidays.
