As the Principal Advisor, Rapid Support Squad, you will coordinate multidisciplinary regional responses to acute incidents, with a primary focus on bullying prevention and response. Based in Central Queensland Region and positioned with statewide colleagues, you will work directly with principals, regional leadership and Central Office teams to activate support, restore safe and inclusive school environments, and build system capability. While bullying prevention and response will be your core responsibility, you may also be asked to support other operational priorities of the region. Responsibilities include: Coordinate rapid multidisciplinary responses for acute school incidents, ensuring principals and schools receive timely and professional support. Provide expert advice, coaching and assurance to principals, while preparing high-quality briefings for regional and Central Office leadership. Apply implementation science and continuous improvement cycles to refine the Rapid Support Squad model and embed sustainable practice. Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships across schools, regions and Central Office through clear, empathetic communication. Lead logistical coordination, data collection and evaluation activities to inform system learning and capability building. About You We are looking for someone who is: An excellent communicator with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills. Skilled in logistics and coordination, able to bring order and calm to complex activations. Confident working in ambiguous environments and piloting new approaches in regional operations. Experienced in co-design, collaboration and multidisciplinary teamwork. Resilient, empathetic and solutions-focused, with a proven ability to support principals and regional staff. Interested?
