About the role Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to perform a key role of the senior Health Information Services team, which is responsible for overall management of patient information for the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Director in the management and provision of Health Information Services, and act as an expert professional consultant in the area of Health Informatics and Patient Information Systems, both within RBWH and to external agencies including Queensland Health and software vendors. About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:  Provide expert advice to the Director regarding the management and provision of Health Information and Informatics Services within RBWH.  Maintain a high-level of knowledge and understanding of developments in health informatics and act as an expert professional consultant across a broad array of disciplines within RBWH and to external agencies in the development, implementation and maintenance of all current and future Patient and Clinical Information Systems.
