About us: Retrieval Services Queensland (RSQ) is a Branch of the Queensland Ambulance Service and is responsible for the clinical and logistic coordination of all aeromedical retrievals and transfers of patients in Queensland. RSQ collectively provides the state-wide clinical, operational and business governance for Queensland Health's (QH) contracted and Hospital and Health Service (HHS) retrieval services and aeromedical transport providers, and plays a vital role in helping overcome the vast distances throughout the State, supporting equitable access to specialist clinical services for all Queenslanders. What you'll do Research:  Lead and manage complex clinical research projects, including protocol development and ethics approvals.  Deliver specialised research expertise and consultancy within multidisciplinary teams.  Collaborate with the Clinical Director to align research with RSQ priorities and improve efficiency.  Monitor and report on research and quality improvement outcomes to inform RSQ practices.  Contribute to the development and implementation of RSQ's research strategy and governance processes. Communication / Team Participation:  Collaborate with RSQ teams, university partners, and stakeholders to lead multidisciplinary improvements in research and clinical practice across the patient care continuum.  Provide expert, evidence-based advice to senior management on service delivery, technology, and the development of RSQ's research infrastructure. Leadership / Work Unit Management:  Provide leadership, mentoring, advice and supervision as necessary to researchers and/or clinicians to foster research activities, including a role in competency training, and skill development.  Provide strategic research leadership for, and contribute to the development of, the RSQ research strategy and research governance framework.  Provide professional leadership to promote evidence-based practice initiatives and support others to participate or co-lead as appropriate. About you  Relevant postgraduate research qualification with research experience approximately equivalent to a research masters degree or higher.  Demonstrated experience in leading and/or coordinating integrated research across professional disciplines (Medical, Nursing and Allied Health).  Demonstrated experience in supervising and managing multidisciplinary teams including clinical, academic, government and NGO's members.
