Your new role: As a Clinical Nurse Consultant within General Medicine, you'll deliver expert clinical leadership and consultancy across QEII's six medical wards. You'll work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager, Nurse Educator, and multidisciplinary team to strengthen clinical standards, support staff development, and optimise patient outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Provide advanced clinical guidance, leadership, and expertise in general medicine nursing. Support and mentor nursing teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Lead continuous improvement and innovation in clinical practice and patient care models. Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical standards, guidelines, and procedures. Drive research, education, and workforce development initiatives within the Division of Medicine. You will demonstrate: Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, with advanced skills in general medicine. About us: The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
