Key competencies (role specific criteria) You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:  Demonstrates a competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in Haematology and Transfusion.  Demonstrated ability to participate in a single-discipline or multidisciplinary team on a 7 day roster, oncall and contribute a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the discipline.  Demonstrated ability to apply established principles to a Haematology and Transfusion service with provision of results and clinical advice in a client focused manner.  Demonstrated ability (or ability to rapidly acquire the skill) to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation / certification. * Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively as part of a team. Qualifications, registrations and other requirements: A relevant degree (Medical Laboratory Science) in Science or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.- Availability to work on a 7 day roster including weekends and oncall.- While not mandatory, multidisciplinary experience would be well regarded.- Please detail any visa conditions you may have if you are not a permanent resident of Australia.- We understand that some people may require adjustments to the workplace or the way the work is performed.
