Apprentice Greenkeeper – C.ex Urunga Golf Club Hands-on outdoor work in a friendly, small-team environment! Do you enjoy working outdoors, operating machinery, and taking pride in well-presented grounds? C.ex Urunga Golf Club , home to a scenic 9-hole golf course and croquet lawn, is looking for a reliable and motivated Groundsperson to join our team. This is a practical, hands-on role where you’ll assist with the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of the course and facilities. Working as part of a small, supportive team , you’ll get to be involved in all aspects of grounds and turf care — no two days are the same! Your Key Responsibilities Assist with mowing, trimming, and general turf maintenance Help maintain the croquet lawn and golf course playing surfaces Operate and care for turf maintenance equipment and irrigation systems Assist with fertilising, watering, and pest control Support small projects and improvements around the course Ensure safe and tidy grounds and facilities for members and visitors What We’re Looking For Enjoys hands-on outdoor work in all weather Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work Good teamwork and communication skills Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn Current manual driver’s licence required What We Offer A friendly, community-focused club environment A varied role where you’ll get to learn and do a bit of everything Support and on-the-job training from experienced staff Opportunity to develop turf and groundskeeping skills Stable employment with a large Club Group, in a welcoming regional town Integrity, Respect, Precision, Adventurous, Commercial & Considered, Conviction, United Experience is not necessary as we provide the training and resources for our team members to excel.
